The estate needed retaining walls that followed both the roads and the lots themselves, across ground shaped by up to 2.6 m of cut and fill. Wall heights varied along each run, and each height carried different loading conditions.

Solution

Nearly 300 m of concrete sleeper retaining walls, up to 2.6 m high, designed for a new Hunter Valley over-55s estate and set out from a single buildable schedule.
